As crisp cold mornings and icy evenings start to sweep across the UK, it has never been so appealing to snuggle up with a warm cup of rosy lee.
Tea creatives, the Tea Lab Company have developed a range of loose leaf teas that are perfect for the occasion. With indulging names such as Movie Night, Dream Catcher, Blue Moon, Hot Soul, Honey Bush and of course Fireside – these tea’s are the cherry on the top of a warm night in or a cold morning start.
Arriving packed in a neat and cosy box, each tea is wrapped to perfection. Brewing instructions are included on the back of each tea along with a serving suggestion – allowing you to create the perfect winter warmer!
The first tea to make an appearance in my new year routine is a cup of Hot Soul – this lemon, berry and green tea infusion is the perfect way to kick start your day. With each sip you can taste a burst of berries, followed by a snap of lemon. This creates a very refreshing and clean start to my winter mornings – I always feel that a fresh and natural flavour is the best way to slowly wake up my body in the morning. Often avoiding milk until my mid-morning cup of earl grey or coffee.
To make a tea-cup sized portion of Hot Soul I use around 1 1/2 tea spoons of loose leaf tea, this is left to brew inside the infuser for around 2 minutes (leaving just about the right amount of time to cook up some porridge or a munch down a morning bircher). Alternatively, increase the amount of loose leaf tea and fill up a flask for the morning commute!
Stay tuned for more winter warmers – each day this week I will be posting my thoughts on 6 other Tea Lab Co teas!
